T is now old enough to enjoy a little ‘grown-up’ cereal, so I whipped up a fun little mix of crushed ‘moons & stars’ (cereal) in oatmeal cooked in milk and what came of it was a lip smacking chocolate porridge.
Mashed bananas and one small scoop of crushed cereal too makes for a filling 5pm snack. Crushed ‘Honey loops’ also make a yummy option.
Hey Nams would lik to share few recipes which i studied for my nephew whn he ws 9 months.
Sweet Potato Cubes
Babies will like the sweet taste of these little morsels. They have a natural sweet tooth developed from drinking breast milk , which are sweet. The natural sweetness of sweet potatoes make them a favorite among babies!
Directions:
Wash, peel and dice a sweet potato into small cubes about 1/2-inch in size. Place the cubes in microwave-safe dish, cover, and cook them in the microwave on HIGH for 5 to 7 minutes. Let them stand for 5 minutes. You’ll know they are done if you can mash them with a fork.
Add a little spice,u can sprinkle a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg or ground ginger on the sweet potato cubes before you cook them for a little extra flavor.
Hey Manshi, Thanks a bunch for the recipe! I am sure T and all babies will love this! :)
