The workshop was such fun yesterday with all the eager little cheflings ready to cook up a storm. Since we couldn’t use any stove tops or chopping boards the trick was to simply follow instructions and mix, crush, swirl, paint, lick, dribble and gobble. And what a fantastic job those little ones did!
The workshop as mentioned in my last post was hosted by the wonderful BabyChakra at Hamleys store in Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Red Velvet Crumble
The finale to our little workshop ended with this fine number & a tribute to my late grandma. Needless to say it was my favourite of the lot!
Ingredients:
- 1 helping of cookies
- 1 helping of slice cake
- 3 tbsp of condensed milk
- 1 sachet of beetroot powder
- 1 sachet of white chocolate chips
Method:
Right at the get go mix in the beetroot powder to the condensed milk and allow it to sit so that the powder can render a gorgeous colour to the mix
For the base layer, crush fine the cookies. Add roughly crushed chunky bits of cake to the top of the cookie layer
Drizzle the red velvet sauce over the top of the cake layer and finish it off with the white chocolate chips
Dig in and share!
Looks great! I love the packaging
